Basics & Beyond Class

Does your dog need to learn basics or does he already know basic commands but doesn't perform them reliably in public or around others?  This is an intermediate level class.  Your dog should respond to: his/her name, sit, lie down & have been introduced to walking on the leash. This class will help you move to the next step.

In this class you will learn how to tweak your dog's listening & obedience skills in distractions.  

We will show you how get Fido well-mannered around people, in common distractions & around other dogs so you can show him off in everyday situations!

• sit reliably around distractions
• lie down reliably around distractions
• stay in place until released
• walk appropriately on a loose leash around other dogs & people
• come when called (recall) in distractions
• leave it on command (don't touch/pick up something)
• attention/focus when in distractions

 The class details are as follows.

• 6 week course
• 1 hour class, meets 1 x a week
• any dog 5 months (20 weeks) or older can join
• 8 dog maximum/5 dog minimum per class
