Misty joined the Adventures team in 2008. Since 2007, she has been interning with Stacy, and continues to build her dog training portfolio. She is an active member of Dog Scouts of America as well as the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. She graduated from Animal Behavior College, earning her certification as a Pet Dog Trainer. Misty also holds a professional membership with the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), a certification from the American Red Cross for Canine CPR and First Aid & is an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator thru the American Kennel Club (AKC). She is an assistant trainer for the therapy dog classes, and enjoys taking part in fundraising activities for Paws Partners, Inc.

Misty is the owner of a spunky Lab mix named Lucky, who has been her inspiration in training. A shelter rescue, Lucky kept Misty on her toes with all kinds of wacky shenanigans. Today, they are a great training team. Misty loves to teach Lucky new, unique tricks, and could never imagine life as a trainer without him.
